Kayaking the Tranquil Wailua River

Double kayaks make for easier paddling.

Enjoy a tranquil “taste” of the Wailua River.

During our off-season when the winter days are short, we offer this mellower 4 miles guided paddling tour. We guide on this abbreviated tour to where the North and South Fork of the Wailua River join.

This is a perfect alternative for those who prefer to avoid the challenge of the hiking portion of our more challenging 5 hour Sacred/Secrets Falls tour, or have younger children and/or perhaps a more senior individual who would love a water adventure.

Tour time is 2.5 to 3 hours with breaks along the way  on the rivers as the guide shares the natural and social history of the Wailua River complex.

–Note: you will be in a kayak for more or less 3 hours.

Check-In: Wailua River Marina Store (located in the building, not at the launch ramp)

Monday thru Friday (No Weekends)

4 person minimum to consider this tour a go.
